Responsibilities

TO CARRY OUT SITE REPAIRS AND WORKSHOP REPAIRS, TO GAS, DIESEL AND ELECTRIC FORK LIFT TRUCKS.

About the role:

The role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and other material handling equipment. On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:

• Service, maintain, overhaul, fault find and resolve faults on company and customer’s products.
• Respond to breakdowns
• Ensure all paperwork is completely accurately and within the stipulated time period and with the relevant order numbers/job sheets.
• Maintain a safe working environment & work in a safe manner.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in mechanical engineering.
• Effective planning and organisational skills.
• Able to work on your own initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Build good rapport with customers.
• Full UK driving licence.

This is a full-time position and in return the company is offering a Competitive Salary and a company vehicle.

The candidate will be given a van to carry out repairs on site. Going to site straight from home will be required from time to time. A fulecard will be provided. The vehicle can also be used for personal use.

Qualifications

WE WOULD LIKE A TIME SERVED ENGINEER IDEALLY WITH ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE. CITY AND GUILDS OR EQUIVALENT.
